Wet spring florals

cameo pendant - gift from Jay
everything else - retail

These little purple flowers are growing wild around a rose tree in my new courtyard.
Everything outside looked so lush after a day of spring rain I just had to take some photos.

I've left a purple stripe in my hair and it's slowly fading to lavender. It sort of shows here. I quite like it and I think I'm going to dye my short side purple to match.
Frustrating as it was to maintain, I do miss the colour.

  1. I really like the way you have styled this dress with the belt, the cameo and those lovely coloured tights. Green tights are not yet in my wardrobe, but that will have to change as we head out of summer!

  2. You are knocking me straight over with the stupendously pretty florals you've been posting lately, sweet girl. My word, is this one gorgeous! I love that you picked up the dark, rich green in it for your hosiery choice. I have some tights in virtually the same hue and wore them second most frequently (after black, but before grey) last winter. It's a surprising versatile colour, I found, going with everything from plum to navy, chocolate to cream.

Big hugs & the happiest of Thursday wishes,

  6. I thought you looked fantastic when I just saw the dress and cardi, but then I saw the green tights and I fell harder! Love that pairing!

  12. Wonderful dress! I love florals. The purple flowers growing wild under the rose tree are Violets, and they smell so great if you pick a bunch. The 6th picture from the top with the tiny purple/blue balls look like grape hyacinths. These plants are both very short and come out in springtime! I love them.
