Happy Birthday?

A beautiful crisp winter morning in Melbourne...

Streaks of clouds drifting through the clear blue sky...

Frost twinkling on the grass & few remaining leaves as the sun rises...

*hack, hack*
* cough, cough COUGH*
*snort*
*ACK*
"...ergh..."

Oh yes. That would be me. Trying not to cough or snort up a lung whilst I recover from the FLU.

That's right. This weekend is my BIRTHDAY, and I have the FLU.

As in, stuck-in-bed, PARTY-CANCELLED, tissues-up-the-nose, FLU.

(hey, it's only my 30th. Not like I had anything special planned).

Well, that's it. Just wanted a bit of a whinge. I'll be back soon with a cheerier post once I've been placated with presents and material possessions.

Perhaps I will even receive "a plethora."

  2. HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Surely being sick on your birthday is even MORE of an excuse to flop around and indulge in everything you can get your hands on :-D
    Hope you get better soon!
